Lull Telehandlers
Ever since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their equipment have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish all your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When both accuracy and precision are really vital, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, many attachments have been designed and developed such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more precisely. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New products and attachments are being engineered and made all the time and would debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to know the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory will compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
