Heavy Forklifts
Hyundai is targeting a new customer base with their new range of heavy forklift trucks. A variety of businesses, from the concrete and natural stone industries, to the steel industry, the railway sector and the transportation of heavy goods in the ports are all relying on and working with heavy duty equipment. The efficiency and power offered by the models keep operational costs low and offer the best conditions for economical work. These equipment could excel in the most demanding settings.
Offering the needed power on all of the large capacity units, the Cummins diesel engine varies from 162 horse-power to 250 horse-power. TierIII emission standards are met with engines that have 6 cylinders. These models are able to take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It provides for a high climbing ability on rough terrain and steep slopes and provides great acceleration too.
To be able to choose 1 of 2 driving modes, the operator can utilize a switch. When in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or tough terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks are able to save a lot of fuel during light-duty work. Furthermore, simply by pressing a switch, the operator could automatically maintain a chosen speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is an added fuel saving function. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the machinery simple to maneuver and comfortable to use.
The well-ventilated cabin offers a spacious and comfortable working place. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps ensure the operator has a comfortable interior. The cab was designed ergonomically to give a bird's eye view of all of the controls, adding to the overall safety of the unit. An MP3 player and a CD player put the finishing touches on giving the nice atmosphere that Hyundai equipment are reputed to have.
