Employers are responsible for making certain that all employees who are using the forklift are properly trained in risks and safety. Never let anyone on a forklift who isn't correctly trained to use the forklift. Your business should develop and post in a place which is visible all forklift safety procedures.
Instead of going through training because workers are required to, they must have a positive attitude in doing so. You as the employer must help workers know the importance of proper training. Let them understand that they can kill or injure not only themselves, but other individuals, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to make sure that all your workers go through training seriously.
