JLG Straight Boom Lifts Oakland

The 600 Series of articulating booms provided by JLG, feature an optional narrow chassis which will allow access to confined places. The 600 Series features the best work envelope within the business; a horizontal outreach of 12.12 m or 39 feet, 9 inches and 8.1 m or 26 feet, 7 inches up and over height. These machines provide dual rated capacities of 500 pounds and 1000 pounds as well. Along with a 60 foot platform height, these models will provide you with the reach capacity and the power you need no matter what work needs to be completed.



To give you exceptional performance and drive on rough terrain, these articulating booms are available with optional 4-wheel drive and standard oscillating axles. Providing unmatched agility and tight spaces, are the 3-position switch and optional 4-wheel steer. The platform controls are improved and have been redesigned in order to offer more controlled operation and be smoother for job site productivity.



Raising Safety Standards for Aircraft Maintenance

The Model 740AJ is the right machinery for working on any aircraft size. This model provides 74 feet or 22.6 m of height and over fifteen m or fifty one feet of outreach. It has numerous safety features which you require when performing maintenance. The Fall Arrest platform could be included in order to allow you to exit the platform and move an entire 270 degrees around the platform within a radius of 6 feet, and continue to have fall protection whilst doing so.



One more optional feature is the Soft Touch System. This reduces the risk of any accidental contact and damage during aircraft maintenance. This optional package offers a suspended padded rail which surrounds the platform basket. There are proximity sensors which de-activate platform movement functions and the operator is alerted if the basket comes too near the aircraft surface.



Advantages

The articulating jib would allow the operator better access and positioning to all external surfaces on any type of aircraft. This jib could be used in both uncontrolled and controlled places because of steady winds, 90 mph gusts and jet blast standards of 80 mph. An optional on-board air compressor enables for pneumatic-powered hand tools to be utilized. The Fall Arrest adds safety when performing maintenance outside of the platform.
