Narrow Aisle Forklift
Designed to both lift and lower loaded pallets from storage areas which are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This particular type is suitable for work environments with narrow spaces between aisles, like warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires which make maneuvering very simple.
The operator of this particular kind of forklift usually stands up within a small cockpit. The stand-up design enables the narrow aisle forklift to be as narrow ans short as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift normally has three tires: two in the front, and one in the rear. This configuration allows for easy and fast maneuvering. There are some versions of these forklifts which come with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment is capable of pivoting to the sides, permitting the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the entire equipment. The sit-down model generally has four wheels.
An electric engine is utilized to power many narrow aisle forklifts. Electric-powered equipment do not produce exhaust fumes and are quiet, making them the suitable alternative for closed places like retail spaces. Some lifts come with a gas engine or a diesel engine. Nevertheless, the diesel model is not suggested to be utilized indoors as it can produce exhaust and be quite noisy.
