Caterpillar Reach Stackers Oakland

A reach stacker is a vehicle designed to handle the movement of containerized cargo within medium and small-sized ports and terminals. Reach stackers are ideal for quickly shuttling containers short distances and piling them in rows.



Because of their flexibility, reach stackers are a popular choice for handling intermodal cargo containers. They could stack higher than forklift trucks. With a reach stacker capable of second row access, container blocks could be kept four-deep.



A different version of the stacker is made to handle empty containers only.
