Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family business within the Northern Italy's biggest industrial location. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide range of presses, forklifts, farming machinery and prefabrication molds.
During the year 1963, the company began crane production. The business eventually invested all of their financial resources and human resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
